Having been given a camera for my 7th seventh birthday, I first started taking photos as a child, and I have been captivated by photography ever since.

I have now worked as a professional photographer for over 20 years; it is my passion in life.

Combining this passion with other areas in which I am keenly interested, such as archaeology, art and a fascination with people, has lead me to specialise in wedding photography, portraiture, gallery images and archaeological photography.

I aim to create images that are both poignant and beautiful. Images that reflect a moment, capture an emotion and express the essence of the subject, whether that subject is a precious newborn baby or an irreplaceable archaeological artefact. These are images that you can enjoy and treasure for a lifetime.

In addition, I also teach Photography, wishing to share my enthusiasm for the medium with others. In particular, running workshops in local primary schools has been very rewarding, encouraging the children to embrace the creative possibilities and the potential for self-expression inherent within photography.

Alongside my considerable experience, I am well qualified with a City and Guilds and HND in Photography.
